It is our sincere hope that the visitors’ experience is a valuable one, and that through this new avenue of communication, the Motor Controls website effectively conveys our continued expectation of building successful application-specific solutions and integration systems across a vast scope of user-specific industries.
UL 508A Training Class -- July 1st, 2008
Motor controls Inc. held its annual UL 508A training class, which expanded the attendance to include customers.
This year’s class was held from 8:00am to 5:00pm on the 1st and 2nd of July. The two day course was led by a UL inspector covering UL 508A standards as well as Short Circuit Current Ratings.
The general purpose for Motor Controls holding the annual UL training is to ensure that employees are up to speed on all current UL construction requirements as well as review NEC ANSI / NFPA 70 standards. Motor Controls wanted to include our customers in this training so that they may better understand and utilize the UL standard for their electrical designs.
This year’s training had 10 attendees, including 6 clients, and included a focus on the application of web-based research tools to configure electrical control components, determine component suitability and provide cost saving solutions.
Motor Controls Inc. is driven by continuing efforts to build and strengthen our relationships with our customers, and we felt that bringing our engineering groups and production team together for a collaborative learning session was essential. If you’re interested in attending a UL 508A training class, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
