in 1980 with one division and a dream. Long
before empowerment was popular, Motor Controls founders wanted to create a
culture where people and opinions mattered, a place where quality described both
customer service and manufacturing. This vision laid the foundation for what Motor Controls Inc.
is today. MCI is a privately held,
organization with primary expertise in the design, development and manufacturing
of custom and proprietary electrical control, electrical metal cabinets, motors,
and automation. Markets served
include Pumping, Process Control, Material Handling, Petroleum, Industrial
Packaging, and Air Handling. As a contract manufacturer MCI is a proven solution
provider for Customer outsourcing requirements.
A significant achievement in 2001-02 was the design, fabrication, and
manufacture of virtually all of the portable power distribution equipment used
at the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City.
MCI has achieved 22 years of growth, with continued growth forecasted
through 2003. Today MCI consists of the original control design and manufacturing division, electric motor sales, and metal fabrication division. Each division, while managed separately, is guided by the corporate purpose of innovation, enthusiasm, and teamwork.
